Rekha Thapa starts social work, on her way to meet Raute children

During the premier of ‘Kali’ in Hong Kong, Rekha Thapa had announced her desire to start active participation in social work. In the event, Rekha had announce about spending some quality time with Raute children and help the children in their upbringing and education. As per the announcement, actress Rekha Thapa has headed towards Western Nepal, Surkhet on Friday, December 13. She will spend 24 hours in the area.

Rekha is planning to adopt four Raute children in her non-government organization, Rekha Thapa Foundation (RTF), for the upbringing and to provide education. Raute is a primitive community living mainly in forests in the Western Nepal. They mainly live in Surkhet and Mahendranagar area. Rekha will choose four 5 to 9 years old children to give shelter in RTF in Kathmandu.

Rekha is going to use all the fund collected by the screening of ‘Kali‘ in Hong Kong towards the cost of the Foundation. Rekha is accompanied by director Shyam Bhattarai and journalist Rabi Adhikari. (Photo credit – Filmyupdate, )

Priyanka Karki visits Life Vision Academy

Actress Priyanka Karki had celebrated her birthday in February with the kids of Life Vision Academy, Bhaktapur. It seems, the kids have won her hearts and she has visited the academy again. Like in the previous visit, Priyanka also gave presents to the kids.

Priyanka shared the following photo of a very thankful little girl who kissed on her cheek.

During the birthday celebration, Priyanka had told about the love of 38 kids of the academy and she told that it was ‘the best birthday ever’.

Priyanka says she has visited Life Vision Academy, Bhaktapur. The school educates and takes care of children of rape victims.

Neeta Dhungana Celebrating Her 22nd Birthday in an Orphanage

Actress Neeta Dhungana celebrated her 22nd birthday on Monday in an orphanage.

Neeta visited Sirjanshil Balsewa Orphanage in Kandaghari to celebrate her birthday. Nita celebrated with 17 inmates of the orphanage by cutting her birthday cake and sharing it with the kids. Nita also promised to donate some monetary gift to the orphanage in coming month.

Nita has been active in Nepali film industry for the last five years. She debuted in ‘Mitini’ and two of her upcoming movies, ’6 Ekan 6′ and ‘War’, are waiting to release.
